Lisa Geiger/Presentation Designer

Lisa Geiger

I earned a B.S. degree in Graphic Design from Buffalo State College. One of my first creative jobs was selling and designing advertisements for a local newspaper company. I went on to pursue a M.S. degree in Education from Canisius College. This led to careers in the social work and medical education fields.

I incorporated creativity into my day job by designing PowerPoints which were used to educate clients and patients. I loved designing presentations so much that I volunteered during my free time and helped several non-profit organizations raise money by creating their fundraising slide decks. Eventually, I realized my passion for design over shadowed my day job duties and I made the decision to start my own freelance presentation design business. This has allowed me to work on other cool projects, (to name a few) from investor pitch decks to sales presentations.

My creative approach—LISTENING, RESEARCH, and COMMUNICATION. I take note of a client’s needs, wants, and goals. I want to learn as much as possible about my client’s business, product, and branding. Lastly, I believe good communication is key to a successful outcome. I work hand in hand with my clients until an exceptional presentation is produced.

For me, a great presentation isn’t just about words, but rather, it’s a way to arrest your audience. It’s a way to plant a little bit of desire in their hearts; a yearning to see what’s on the next slide and learn more about your idea. Ultimately, it’s about creating memorable images.
